Usui Reiki Level I – "Shoden – Beginning Level”
In Level I or Shoden, the student receives four attunements during a two day class.  The attunements open the heart, throat, third eye, and crown chakras to the Reiki energy.  A student at this level begins to feel the Reiki energy as warmth or tingling in their hands.  They begin to sense the energy.  The student learns how to use the hand positions to give Reiki to different areas of the body, both on themselves and others.

Cost for Usui Reiki I class: $180 if paid in full 30 days prior to class date, otherwise $200.

Usui Reiki Level II – "Okuden – Inner Teaching”
In Level II or Okuden, the student receives two attunements during a two day class.  The attunements open the sacral and solar plexus chakras to the Reiki energy.  A student at this level learns three symbols: 1st – power symbol, 2nd – emotional/mental healing symbol, and 3rd – distance symbol.  The 1st symbol calls the Reiki “here and now” to wherever the Practitioner uses it on the person.  The 2nd symbol is used to help the person release emotional or mental issues.  The 3rd symbol allows the Practitioner to connect with the person “across space and time”.  In other words, the Practitioner can send a person Reiki without having them in their presence.  It also allows the Practitioner to connect to a person at another time in their life that needs healing.

Cost for Usui Reiki II class: $225 if paid in full 30 days prior to class date, otherwise $250.
Prerequisite: Usui Reiki I from RCGA or certificate from another teacher.

Usui Reiki Level III – (Master) – "Shinpiden – Mystery Teaching”
In Level III or Shinpiden, the student receives one final attunement.  The Shinpiden level is passed from the teacher to the student via the attunement.  The attunement opens the root chakra to the Reiki energy.  A student at this level learns the 4th symbol which is used for giving attunements.  The student learns how to give attunements for all three levels.  The student brings Reiki into their life path and becomes a teacher.  The term “Reiki Master” was associated with Level III by the West and has never been used in the traditional Japanese system.  The term “Master” is strictly western terminology and not recognized in Japan, which uses “sensei” instead.

Cost for Usui Reiki III class: $825 if paid in full within 30 days of class, otherwise $850. A non-refundable prepaid deposit of $400 is due 1 month before class start date.

Prerequisite: Usui Reiki II from RCGA or certificate from another teacher.

Credits available: Students receive a $100 credit for taking each of the Usui Reiki I and Reiki II classes at RCGA. Students who apprentice as Level IIs also receive credit by assisting in Reiki I and II classes (up to 4 days maximum with $25 credit per day, for a total of $100). Total credit that can be applied to Reiki III is $300.

NOTE: Assistants hold space or drum during attunements, hand out water to students after attunements, act as demo person for Reiki II, and observe what is involved in teaching a class. If students ask questions, assistants are also there to provide guidance to the less experienced practitioner.

Payment plans: RCGA offers payment plans where a non-refundable deposit of $400 is paid 1 month prior to the Usui Reiki III class start date. Factoring any student credits, the remaining balance can be paid over a period of 1 to 4 months following the class.
